1. Connect a Cloud Provider

2. Select a Blueprint

Blueprints are templates that define how to and where to deploy your projects. The right blueprint for you depends on your use-case and the cloud provider that you have selected. We recommend using Serverless blueprints (such as AWS Lambda and Google Cloud Run) for free deployments! If you are looking to deploy your project to a cluster, make sure you create/ connect your cluster to Zeet and use the "Container App" blueprint.

1. Connecting a Cloud Provider

Blueprints

Blueprints are a structured layer encapsulating Infrastructure as Code (IaC), providing templates that detail a Project's configuration. They specify the Source, Target, Inputs, and actions required for deploying a Project via Zeet. Teams can use Zeet's Blueprints to streamline their deployment workflow and iterate exponentially faster.

Zeet offers an array of official Blueprints OOB, including but not limited to, Blueprints for Helm Charts, Terraform Modules, Serverless Applications, Container Applications, and Docker Images. You can find all available Blueprints on the Zeet Marketplace.

Can I deploy without a Blueprint?

No, at Zeet, we like to think of Projects as Instances of Blueprints. To create and deploy a Project, you need to use a Blueprint - these Blueprints tell Zeet what and how to deploy your Projects.

Which Blueprint is right for me?

The right Blueprint for your use case depends on some factors that we will cover below:

Infrastructure vs Project: If you are looking to deploy some infrastructure such as Datadog, Traefik, or AWS ELB, you want to use IAC Blueprints such as Helm Charts, Kubernetes Manifests, and Terraform. You can also use the Docker Image Blueprint to deploy container services. You'll have access to 3 free Projects that you can deploy on any of our supported cloud providers. You can also invite team members to collaborate on projects, complete with basic Role-Based Access Control. Additionally, you have access to the Zeet CLI and GraphQL API for programmatic access.

Resource Configuration

Just to clarify, Zeet does not host your projects; instead, it assists you in deploying your applications to a cloud provider that you prefer. When deploying, you have the flexibility to set the compute specifications for your Project, and Zeet imposes no restrictions in this regard. Whether your projects are Serverless or Container-based, you can adjust the CPU and Memory settings in your Project preferences.
